June 21 & 22, 2008

Over the past 28 years runners have been joining together across Canada (22 years in the Edmonton Area) to participate in 24 Hour Relays in support of Easter Seals.

The first Labatt 24 Hour Relay was started in 1980 in Burnaby, B.C. and has grown every year. The Vancouver Relay is Canada's largest and most successful, raising over one million dollars a year, and is the standard we aspire to equal. The Relay is now held all across Canada, with some provinces hosting more than one Relay in different cities.

The funds from the Edmonton Relay not only supports Easter Seals Camp Horizon and equipment and support services to help kids with disabilities and special needs, it also helps Camp Health, Hope, and Happiness (Camp He Ho Ha) west of Edmonton.
