Q: WHERE IS THE RELAY COURSE LOCATED?

A: The course is located in Rundle Park, 28 Street and 118 Avenue. The length of the paved-path course is approximately 2.5 km.

Q: WHERE DO THE FUNDS RAISED GO?

A: Money raised will be used to provide equipment for children and adults with disabilities and special needs, support the Easter Seals Camp Horizon in Bragg Creek, Easter Seals McQueen Residence, and Camp He Ho Ha (west of Edmonton).

Q: HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE RELAY?

Q: HOW WILL I KNOW HOW TO SET UP A TEAM?

A: A Team Captains package will be sent to you once you have registered. In the meantime, you can download a copy of the Team Captains Manual from the Team Captains page now.

Q: HOW MUCH MONEY WAS RAISED IN 2008?

A: In 2008, together we raised $161,000 and since the inception of the Edmonton 24 Hour Relay, we have raised $2,688,616 for Albertans with disabilities and special needs.

Q: WHAT DOES THE RELAY CHECKLIST INCLUDE?

A: As most people stay onsite for the entire 24 hours, we have compiled a list of some of the things you might want to bring to help make your weekend fun and hassle-free. These items include: band-aids, money, aspirin, lawn chair, sunblock, sleeping bags, warm clothing, towels, raincoat, tent, extra socks, change of clothes, etc.

Q: VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT - WHAT KIND OF TOURNAMENT IS THIS?

A: Any member of your team can play on your volleyball team ... this is meant to be fun for everyone. This is a co-ed event with teams of 6 players, each time must have at least two male and two females on the court at all times. You can rotate players in and out throughout the game.

Q: TUG-OF-WAR Competition - HOW MANY PEOPLE DO WE NEED?

A: This event is open to everyone on your team. A maximum of 10 people may participate in each pull, of which at least two must be female.
